Rockcliffe-Smythe is a boring little nook and cranny of greater Toronto that surprisingly offers the usual opportunities for city-goers. Food, entertainment and things to spend ones money on frivolously, are in just as much quantity as you could reasonably desire. What it has more than many places inside Toronto, however, is greenery. Parks, pathways, rivers and creeks all lend themselves to an illusion that you are more than a short trip away from the busiest place in Canada. I prescribe this green bubble to be the saving grace of my time here in the city. With a mostly working-class family demographic, the streets never feel unsafe or particularly inhuman or riddled with " NPC syndrome ".
